Thanksgiving dinner
Today we had a very nice Thanksgiving “dinner” (at noon-thirty). The food was delicious and it was great to get together with the entire local family and our guest and talk and catch up.
After dinner, we looked at some of the rental properties I am currently looking at as I plan to be moving to Dallas in January. We spread out the map and I showed everyone where the apartments were and discussed the pros and cons of my top picks.
Dessert was delicious. We had 4 different kinds of sweetness. The “Chocolate Mousse Tart” was not really all that good, seeing as is felt like eating a REALLY big brownie with some chocolate gel spread on the top. However, everyone loved Rachel’s homemade pumpkin pie and mom’s sweet pumpkin dessert (I have no idea what it is named) was also well enjoyed.
And I’m pretty sure that the thing in the lake is a homing beacon for the oncoming alien invasion!

Is Rachael your significant other? What’s the name of your company? I’ve been meaning to look them up.
I guess it will seem weird for you when your folks leave Texas. I am still having a hard time seeing your mother hiking in snow, but I hear everyone who goes to Colorado falls in love with the place. Good luck on your apt. search.
